If receiving feels harder than it should, it's time to look at your relationship with your mother.

Your relationship with her lays the foundation for how safe you feel receiving support, expressing yourself, and connecting with others.

Receiving the Mother

Receiving the Mother is a 3-month healing container for women who are ready to receive life with open arms and remember what it feels like to be wanted, protected, connected, and embodied.

Through Family Constellations, journaling, and the Matridonal Remedies, you’ll uncover how your earliest bond shaped the way you receive life, release old patterns, and build healthier boundaries so love, support, and opportunity can land with ease.

This is your invitation to turn towards your first home, bring healing to your maternal wounds, and empower your lineage through the gifts of the mother.

Before Receiving the Mother

  • You feel unsupported and struggle to receive help when it's offered

  • You're burnout from over giving and doing it all yourself, your own needs falling by the wayside

  • Your boundaries are inconsistent, muddled, and guild ridden

  • You struggle to connect deeply, relationships feel surface level and incomplete

  • You have a challenging relationship with your mother - if one at all

After Receiving the Mother

  • You feel safe and worthy of receiving love, help, money, and care

  • You know what you want and can set clear boundaries to define it

  • You prioritize meeting your own needs first and have more capacity to give from an overflowing cup

  • You can see yourself and your mother as two separate, whole human beings, with compassion and understanding

  • You release the wounds that weren't yours to begin with and step forward into your own path with confidence

What Clients Say About Paula's Programs

Paula's courses are my favorite among all the courses and practitioners I've worked with. Her guidance in Innate Healer, along with the additional 1:1 sessions, has transformed my life and improved my symptoms.

Paula prompts reflections that encourage you to consider yourself, your life, and your symptoms from a new perspective. She helps you shift from overthinking to experiencing your body. She effectively leads the class as a group, focusing on what is happening at that moment.

I whole heartedly recommend Paula to everyone! If you're ready to explore yourself and make positive changes, I highly recommend Paula and her courses

Naomi

Before Similimum, I was stuck in a never-ending cycle of self hatred and frustration. Paula helped me see that I didn't have to live in such an isolated, angry place anymore, suffering day in and day out. The group of women I was able to connect with showed me that I was never alone in this struggle in the first place, I was no longer "the broken girl." I really can't put into words just how impactful this group has been for me and for my family. Thank you Paula -- with all of our hearts!!!!

Jayme Smith (BTS)

Before Similimum I looked at my symptoms as a "list" of things that needed to be addressed --- and now, I see them as expressions of my inner world, waiting to be seen, heard and understood.

I have taken many courses along my own healing journey and this was, by far, one of my favorites; the smaller, intimate group setting, the ability to connect with what-is in real time via the prompts, along with the openness and willingness to share (of the participants)...made it feel like a safe environment to heal in!

The facilitation style was so warm and inviting, and as someone who is quite shy in group settings I really appreciated that sharing was only ever invited and never required. It created a really welcoming environment where I could show up in the way that worked best for me.

Anna (Detour)

I have loved this experience for so many reasons. The intimate nature allowed me a safe space for vulnerability. The prompts, and the order in which they were presented, allowed me to go deeper than I have in any of my previous journaling or workshopping endeavors. The structure and the way it included multiple sessions over the course of weeks allowed me to process, integrate, and come back to the practice in ways that I have not previously made space for.

Paula's energy is reason enough to join Simillimum. She holds the space with compassion and curiosity which encouraged me to approach myself with equal compassion and to be curious with whatever came up in session. If you like to write and nourish your connection with yourself, join Simillimum. â€‹

Paula meets you where you are at. She SEES you. She holds space for you which allows for your inner most self to come forward to be met. There is never any judgement. Only a curiosity for the why behind what's showing up. She's deeply encouraging and reminds you that you always have everything you need.

I entered Similimum after receiving a diagnosis of breast cancer. This container allowed me to explore my own voice and become clear on my own needs. It allowed the diagnosis to be seen more like a guide instead of something to defeat. The community sharing allowed me to see myself in the struggles of being a human and bring more self compassion to my own journey.

The Modalities We'll Use:

Family Constellations

A therapeutic approach that brings order and healing to unconscious family dynamics and inherited patterns.

Through both individual exercises and group experiences, you'll gain new perspectives and bring healing to your relationship with your own mother and to the maternal themes present in your lineage. Family Constellations will help us both enlighten awareness and embody change over the course of the program.

The Matridonal Remedies

Homeopathic remedies made from the gifts of the mother; Placenta, Amniotic Fluid, Umbilical Cord, Vernix, Milks.

The Matridonals bring us lessons on receiving, connection, surrender, healing, and identity. Over the course of the program you'll learn about these remedies cognitively, but you'll also experience them through constellations and journal prompts. These remedies bring us back to creation, to mom, to the womb, and as such, they help us remember who we are.

Integrative Group Learning + Healing

Each week will be rich with journaling prompts, conversation, and constellation experiences to deepen both learning and healing on all levels.

This container is meant to be experienced in community, to witness and be witnessed.

Each week will reveal a new layer of healing

What to expect in the sessions

In the first session, you'll explore journalling prompts and mini-constellations to reveal patterns present in your relationship with your mother; an imprint of how you receive life.

The second session will take us into Amniotic Fluid, where we'll learn about being held, letting go, and surrender.

Up next, Placenta will nourish our ability to receive, release, and create.

Then Umbilical Cord will help us cut ties and heal wounds so we can build deeper, stronger connections with the people in our lives.

Bringing us closer to birth, Vernix will bolster our boundaries and help us stay rooted in self in relationship.

Finally, the milks will help ground us in our bodies and on this earth - guiding the transition from womb to world.

Program FAQs

Questions and Answers

Will sessions be recorded?

Parts of sessions will be recorded, but not all.

This program is intended to be attended live to honour the space and community we create - personal shares and constellations will not be recorded.

I will share recordings of lessons on matridonals and you will receive all journal prompts and constellations exercises (that can be done independently) in writing after the session.

I can't attend all of the sessions!

You can get a fair bit out of the recorded and written content, to get the most out of the program, aim to attend at least 4/6 sessions if not all.

What are constellations?

A constellation is a practice in which we use representatives (objects, visuals in the minds eye, or other people) to represent a person or energy within a story we are navigating.

They help us see things from new perspectives, establish boundaries, and bring healing to unconscious/inherited patterns.

In RTM we will use them in many ways to engage with the matridonal remedies and to explore your maternal relationships. This will be in both group experiences and individual.

Will we be taking the matridonal remedies?

No, but we will be integrating them into the constellations - the medicine of homeopathy transcend far beyond the physical form!

Do I need to know homeopathy to do this?

Nope!

But homeopathy is pretty cool so you should explore it if you're curious ;)

I'm nervous to participate in a group program.

If you have an inkling of curiosity, I encourage you to take the leap because it might surprise you how healing the group connection is.

I aim to facilitate in a way that honours everyone, both those who are super comfortable in a group setting and those who would more often choose 1:1.

You participate to the level in which you desire, you can always pass or take a step back from exercises.

All parts of you are welcome here - and know that I'm leading from the place of quiet, introverted and anxious myself, so perhaps in that way we are similar!

I am adopted/didn't know my mom/she's passed...is this still for me?

Yes, as long as you were born this is for you. There is a placeholder in your life for "mother" whether she is familiar or not.

I have a really complicated or traumatic relationship with my mother, is this for me?

Yes, it can be.

Please keep in mind that this is a group container and there is a level of self-care and self-responsibility required. This space is therapeutic but it is not therapy.

If you have significant trauma in your relationship with your mother, it's important that you have 1:1 support outside of the container to navigate anything that comes up, either with a therapist, homeopath etc.

Other questions?

Email me @ hello@paulajeffrey.com! I'm happy to chat.

I really want to join but money is tight.

I always offer a few subsidized spots and extended payment plans for my programs so don't hesitate to email me if you need - that'll be your first lesson in receiving with ease ;)

You are welcome here...

...whether you have a beautiful relationship with your mother or a deeply complicated one, whether you are in relationship or estranged, whether she is living or has passed.

This work is not about changing your mother, it's healing the imprint that shapes how you receive life.

We begin May 13th!
